AppleRX

Date: Saturday, October 8th

Time: 9:45am – 3pm
Bastyr University Room #220.

Presenter: Stewart Rose, Vice-President, Vegetarians of Washington

The application of an appropriately prescribed plant-based diet is the epitome of naturopathic medicine.

This special presentation introduced naturopathic medicine students to the relevant epidemiology, pathology, therapy and clinical considerations in the application of a plant-based diet for the prevention and treatment of 17 different diseases.

The slides for this presentation are below. Please note that these slides are copyright of Vegetarians of Washington, and are restricted only to those students who attended the seminar. They were designed to be viewed by students attending the class, and do not provide the full narration that was given in the class. Do not copy, reuse, or post these slides to anyone else, since they can easily be misunderstood.

A better source of information, for those who were not able to attend, can be found on our blog www.vegetarianprescription.org, where independent postings go into much greater depth and explanation and have all the necessary references.
